After that they decided to “virtualize” the world, they starting focussing on development of software for many diferrent domains; Aerospace & Defense, Engineering, Construction, Energie, Consumer Goods etc. All their projects are focuses on helping industries and service providers connect the virtual and real worlds of value networks to collaborate, model, optimize and perform.

Team & Function

You will work in a larger Optimization time with more than 10 different Developers which variating seniority. However, there will be more than enough room to keep on developing yourself as a Software Engineer.

As a Software Engineer in the Optimization team, you will work on the core optimization technologies that are used in all optimizers in all business domains. Continuous improvement of the existing approaches in terms of performance and versatility, as well as prototyping new algorithms is a never-ending process you will play an active role in. Besides working on new projects, you will also be supporting the large existing code base. I

Function requirements:
  • BSc or MSc in relevant study
  • 4+ years of experience with Software Engineering
  • C++ and/or Java
  • Algorithms
  • Interest in the end user its needs
  • Familiarity with Operations Research is a plus
  • Fluent English
  • Salary based on experience;
  • Travelling expenses reimbursed;
  • 25 days leave;
  • Pension scheme;
  • Working 32 hours a week negotiable;
