The organisation

The organisation has been founded in 2002 as a family-owned software development company, focused on enabling to learn via simulation technology. More specific, the simulation software focused on the marine and safety industry. Its idea was to train people, without the rik, cost and time of traditional training. Nowadays, the organisation is one of the main players in the market working with the latest technology. The next step will be by making the software available on cloud-based platforms, without the need of hardware.

One of the latest project this organisation is working is the simulation of a moonlanding. Also, they are ensuring automotive security by simulating certain car crashes and the consequences of these crashes.

Team and function

Currently, there are round and about 60 people working for the organisation. The software development team consists of +/- 20 Developers, divided in teams of 5 to 6 people with there own team lead.

As a Software Engineer within the team you will be responsible for designing and programming new software for the simulation software. You also work on analyzing and improving of the software. You will work closely with your team members in order to grow as a team and review each others’ code.

Requirements

• Obtained a BSc/MSc with minimim of 3 years working experience
• C++ and/or C#
• Real-Time 3D engines
• Experience in gaming and/or simulation industry can be considered a plus

• Salary up to 65K
• 1 year contract, with option to make it permanent
