The organisation 

This company has been founded in 2010 as a “side company” from Philips. Now, 11 years later, they combine the experience of a big multinational with the oppertunities of a scale-up. Making it a very pleasent, young, but professional organisation to work for. Moreover, they are the only company in The Netherlands that work on this unique ‘SR’ product and know just some competitors in the world.

The reason they are looking to expand their team with at least three Developers, is because they have been struggling with the workload for almost two years now. The product is completely ready to launch and the demand for it is just to large to be taken on by the current team. To fully launch the product, they have been working together with a worldwide known laptop manufacturer as well.

One of the projects you will be working on is the development of a lens that can be placed over any laptop, creating these Simulated Reality images.

Team and Function 

The company and its R&D team will be divided in smaller teams. Most likely you, as a C++ Software Engineer, will be working together with phisicists, electrical engineers and other software engineers.

Together you will work on the software development kit and various sensors, devices and different features that can be enabled. In order to do so you will need to have sufficient C++ knowledge. Knowledge of C#  can be considered a plus, but not a necessity.
