The Organisation

The organisation has been founded in 2000, when multiple companies evolved with each other. Some of the evolved organisations were founded between 1960 and 1990, and therefore already had a lot of knowledge before founding the current organisation. Due to the long history of the company, the products and equipment they develop is the most unique and respected in the entire world. They are well know for the very advanced analytical and measurement instruments. It is not without a reason the world’s largest refineries rely on the technologies of this company.


Team and Function

The organisation is located Rotterdam, but they also have companies in France, Ireland, the US and Canada. The team in Rotterdam consists of a total of 65 employees in different departments. The Engineer Team, where you would be a part of, consists of about 17 people. These Engineers can be divided in different niches like software, Electrical, Mechanical. The software team alone has about 5 people and you would be the sixth person.

Of all the software engineers, you would be the one with by far the most knowledge of Embedded Systems. Therefore, you should be someone that is proactive and willing to take charge and think about solutions. To be able to do this, you will need some experience in working with C/C++ and preferably ARM and STM32. You would have a leading role in creating product requirements for embedded functionality. Furthermore, you will be designing, developing and maintaining the firmware and software for all the instruments.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree;
