The Organization

This company has been existing for 35 years and has been building experience and know-how in customer specific motion-based energy harvesting systems. The company is to be considered a family company with currently 40 employees in total. Many employees of this company are academics, so there is a lot of knowledge in-house. This also means that they value the fact that you need to feel at home within their organization.

The motion-based energye harvesting sector can be considered an absolute niche market. Which also makes the organization act as one of the few in this area of expertise. Therefore, the work with international clients from all over the world, for example the Bosch Group.

Team & Function

As the hands-on Embedded Software Engineer you will be part of the Research & Development team within the Technology Deoartment. Your main responsibility will be to enable the company in making the next step on Embedded Software capabilities and competences. You will be participating in Design meetings and reviews together with members of the team. Besides that; you will be monitoring and managing external Embedded Software projects at external development partners. Other tasks are:

• Achieving total understanding, ownership, (conceptual)development and continuous improvement of the embedded software in our self-powered and IoT products;
• Managing external software projects outsourced to our development partners;
• Defining, implementing and continues improvement of a high-quality embedded software development, testing and documentation process.

Function requirements

• BSc or MSc education in relevant direction;
• Embedded Software Development;
• C/C++;
• Microcontrollers, Algorithms and Debugging are a Plus;
• GIT;
• RTOS;
• Proficient in English;

Conditions

• Salary up to €5.000,00 gross/month, depending on experience
• Travelling expenses reimbursed;
• 25 days leave, ATV days negotiable;
