Client

This international organisation from Houten is looking for a Java Developer to join their international scrum team. The company has a platform that is active in more than 30 countries and provides almost 1,5 million customers Worldwide with a car for private lease or business lease.

On this platform customers and companies can order their new lease car, arrange a pickup or look at the cost of the fleet of cars. Besides a quick look at the cost of this fleet, the platform provides data for the environmental footprint of the company. To lower the environmental footprint of the company an account manager of the company is available to give customers advise to choose an environmental friendly solution like driving electric cars or provide the solution of investing in environmental projects.

The Team

As a Java Developer you will join the development team of this international company consisting of Software Architect, Backend developers and DevOps Engineers. At the office in Houten you will have three colleagues (Developers and Architect) that work with you directly on the platform and furthermore you will work with developers from across Europe.

Java Developer

As a Java Developer you will join the international development team. Your colleagues will be working from multiple countries from across Europe. First the platform was different in all the countries and they are trying to work on one platform for all countries and develop all kind of new features for the platform.

You will be working on this new platform, build new futures and discuss with the architect what kind of structure the platform should have. You will be responsible for the deployment (CI/CD) as well using Docker for containerization.

You are ambitious and eager to learn!

What do you need to succeed

• Bsc or Msc in Computing Science or equivalent
• 2 years of experience
• Experience working with Webservices
• Experience with Docker (Containerization)
• Excellent in English and preferably Dutch
