The company

This company, started about five years ago, located near Rotterdam Central station is developing a E-commerce software solutions for multinationals to optimize the Customer Journey for their online customers. The platform tries to understand various phases of the customer journey and tailors them in each different stage. By doing this, consumers get personalized commerce solutions, content based on behaviour predictable promotions.  The software analyses online consumer behaviour using artificial intelligence and creates personal content.

This SaaS is highly relevant for growing businesses who would like to continuously improve their commerce. The main purpose of this organisation is to deliver the best customer journey within online shopping.

The international team

You will become part of an international team spread across two offices.  Together you will be working on developing new features for the E-commerce solution. Currently the team consists of 10 experts in all it related fields like Data Science, DevOps and off course Software Development. You will be given the opportunity to work with like minded people who like to work with the latest technology.

The CTO has over 20 years of experience in software development. His experience ranges from coding to setting up infrastructure to managing teams to product management in various rapidly growing engineering organizations.

Position as software Developer

As a Senior Software engineer you will focus on the full life cycle of development, starting with a technical design and ending with the deployment it to the production environment (CI/CD). This will be a technically challenging role where you will be challenged to work with multiple techniques like Python, Java and Kotlin in a serverless cloud environment (AWS).

You will be identifying and improving parts of the platform to make it more scalable, fast and secure. While doing this, you will be collaborating with the team located in Ukraine.

As an engineer you need to be passionate about problem solving and proactive, contributing ideas to their product development roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree
• 2+ years of experience as a software developer
• Excellent communication skills in English
