Within the Netherlands we have almost 70.000 webshops already and these days we can order every product from all around the world delivered right to your frontdoo, but how do all these packeges get there you might ask?
This company is building software to help companies like PostNL, Red je pakketje and Coolblue deliver these products. The platform contains a algorithm that helps the delivery service determine the right route and optimal layout for the transportation van. This algorithm takes things like bad weather, heavy traffic and personal behaviour of the driver.
The organization currently consist of 27 international employees which are all specialist within the E-commerce and transport domian. The Techteam currently has 15 members containing Data Specialist, Software Developers and Machine Learning Engineers.
At this organization you have the opportunity to work fully remote or from the amazing office in Delft.
As a Python Engineer you will be working on features of this cutting-edge delivery platform. Things like Algorithm, Artificial intelligence and optimization have your interest. You will be working with software experts are always open to try out the latest technologies.
The current technical stack consists of Python, REST and Django and is deployed in a serverless cloud environment using kubernetes and Docker.
