This media company is active within the radio, newspapers, magazines, and online services in the Netherlands. They are an ambitious, leading publisher that is really passionate about its readers and web surfers. Two of their departments within their online services platform are currently looking for a React Developer who is able to transform their business needs into software solutions.
Within their Automotive sector they operate in car platforms that help you and five million other users a month, in finding their next car. Additionally, there is a lot going on for their next generation marketplace platforms. These are two well-known award winning brands in the Dutch labour market. The platforms help thousands of people find the perfect job and help a multitude of companies in finding the perfect candidate.
Overall there is a really vibrant and easy-going atmosphere within the teams and company. There is an open and diverse culture and their state of the art office breathes the same air.
Every team consists out of approximately 8/9 developers. The teams typically include a Scrum Master, PO, Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, a QA and a Devops Engineer. Within the teams there is a high level of seniority as there is a pushing demand of the business. Everyone in the team depends on each other’s effort and is willing to help each other wherever needed. As a Developer in the team you want to give your best every single day, like to contribute your own ideas and are able to work in a dynamic and free environment.
In order to stay at the top, the company is looking for an enthusiastic developer who is ahead of the game. As a React Developer you will help build and create the innovation required to remain at the top.
The main focus is refresh and optimize the current user interface and improving some core pages tot a single page application. You will be essential in making sure that small parts of the application are being replaced while still serving the high volume traffic on the website with of over 12 million page views a month. You will do so by architecting, designing, developing, deploying and operating services that serve millions of users in a DevOps manner.
You will work in the following tech stack: React, Node.js, NextJs, Rest, MongoDb, Apollo, GraphQL
